	For the holidays or any other time that requires you to label a mass amount of gifts, buying nice gift tags from a store is an easy bet. However, for a birthday or other more personal event, something involving a little more thought is nice.
	Postcard
	Do you collect these while you're on trips? Maybe you should start, as they're great for more things than mailing. Stick to beautiful fronts involving scenery or color, without text. Scalloped edges also look particularly attractive.
	Notecard and Envelope
	Instead of relying on a store-bought sentiment card, create your own personalized one using a pretty notecard and envelope. The recipient will appreciate a few personal lines instead of just "Happy Birthday."
	Placecard
	If your gift is going to be perched in a place where it's unlikely to be disturbed until opening (such as a gift table), a placecard sitting atop the gift in a holder is a cute way to label it. Choose something that coordinates thematically with your gift and/or your wrapping ensemble.
